Underbonnet liner tdci puma

It's not the block so much as the injector pipes and rail. When we had -20 a couple of weeks ago I lifted the bonnet to find everything sparkling and white with frost, even inside the vehicle was white. I had to put a fan heater on the top of the engine to get it to run.

Since then I have been using an anti-waxing additive which seems to be working (I'll find out in the morning!) I just want to keep the frost off the pipes and rail without having to keep putting a fleece over the engine overnight. Rocky

For god sake remember it in the morning though........ a couple of yrs ago now, my cousin wrapped his mk1 escort engine in a blanket, and two months later went and started the car...... he got it right up to normal on the temp guage before the car burst into flames.... and gutted his pride and joy........ he's now rebuilding it into what it was ...... again!
