Forby4 Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 A positive thing ive noticed about owning a Freelander, it seems the doors never freeze no matter what the temperature outside. It was -14 the other day, my girlfriends golf was like a block of ice and it took her 10 minutes before she could actually get in the car, you should have seen her face as i walked over to mine and opened it up straight away, plus with the front screen heater i was on my way whilst she was still scraping the ice...bwahahaha. lawrence Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 Yea my audi, could not get into that for a good 10 mins, On the other hand the i've not had a problem with the 90 that I have borrowed while my disco is been fixed. rocky Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 If anyone is interested I use Halfords silicone rubber lubricant and never have a problem, where I live we have had a few nights below -20!
