paulk
Rear passenger windows will not operate. Isolation switch is off. I have seen solution to problem for Series 1 on this forum. Is the solution the same for Series 2 or does the relay come into play?

PaulMc
no ecu for the rear windows on disco 2. operated by the BCU/IDM and a lift relay. check fuse 13 in the passenger fusebox On a DII, the BCU plays no part in switching the Rear Electric Windows, they're switched directly by the switches. The only part the IDM plays, is to provide the earth to the Rear Window Relay's coil when the ignition is on. Here's the wiring diagram - . jiginc
Point of interest; The window drive motors are the same for both the D1 and D2 BUT reversed. Left on a D1 fits the right door on a D2 Right on a D1 fits left on a D2. Strange is it not. jiginc
