I.B.ASH Posted February 17, 2011 Share Posted February 17, 2011 Hello I have a NATO plug for trailers on my Landy 90, but I need to hook up to a standard connection, can I buy an adaptor as I would like to keep my 90 in military spec, if not is it easy to change the socket over? Range Rover Blues Posted February 26, 2011 Share Posted February 26, 2011 Not straightforward as the military use different wiring conventions, like only one circuit for the sidelight but 2 for the brakes. In the end I bought a connection lead (cost a bit though!!!!): https://www.thexmod.com/search_results.asp?search=FV324385-1&Submit3=Search and connected a civy 7 pin plug to the wires. So Iv kept the nato plug on the landy, and now connect the new lead from that to the normal civy light board for the trailer. Yeah "Range Rover Blues", not straightforward, but I just put the 2 break light wires into the 1 connector on the civy plug, and ran a second wire from the single sidelight wire, and it works no worries.
