landy V8
would have thought it would be easier to measure it and get one from a motor facter for about £1.off the top of my head i'd say it's an M8 x

del
its a 200 tdi lump with my old td alternator on it so im not sure if its a through bolt or would it be bolted on the front and on the back its the botton bolt that seems to pass through the power steering pump housing
western
there are 2 short bolts one from front 2nd from rear, the long through bolt secures the engine earth cable & PAS/Alt mount to the block, click the first link above & scroll to page 200, too find the bolt numbers

PieEater3142
Hey there, Hhave been trying to sort out my alternator as well. On page 206 of the above, I have now got parts 10 and 6 - link adjuster and the m8x95 bolt. However on my other 200tdi there is a metal spacer which sits behind the link adjuster on the m8x95 bolt but it's not shown in the manual - does anyone know if this means I have some weird setup on my 200tdi or is there a part number for this spacer. It does seem as if it's something I need as currently the link adjuster sits in the wrong place. Cheers, James
western
Defender 200Tdi needs the spacer tube for the Alternator adjuster link, not shown on page 206, but is listed as Spacer ERC7974
