muddy4x4xfar
hi all. im building my td5 110 . im at a point to fit the brakes. iv been looking on microcat which has totally confused me. can anyone give me a diagram of how the brake setup should be on a defender 110 td5 without abs. its got vented front discs, and solid discs on the back. also when looking at microcat it shows whats called a valve brake on some pictures but not all. is this somthing mine will need?? cheers chris
Les Brock
Know the feeling..... Some have a G valve, some a PDWA, and some a four port bias valve... Not sure which is "better" tho

western
G valve was usually fitted to 90's only. the PDWA unit was discontiued on 110 & replaced by the low fluid level float switch same as 90's have. brake system layout was revised in 1991 IIRC, these 2 pages should help.
