seth's dad Posted May 6, 2011 Share Posted May 6, 2011 evening all, im having trouble fitting my yellow top and my normal starting battery underneath the passenger seat for my split charger, the yellow top is so tall the terminals are nearly touching the seat box top. i have been told that you can lay the yellow top on its side because its got a gell pack and its sealed, does any body know if this is true and ok to do, many thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
western Posted May 6, 2011 Share Posted May 6, 2011 Optima & any AGM battery can be liad on either side. I managed to fit 2 reds in my 110's battery bay a few years ago, both stood upright, cover the seat box lid with a non conductive rubber sheet & make sure the batteries are securely strapped down.
