ajh Posted September 4, 2011 Share Posted September 4, 2011 Is anyone already making an alloy alternative to MUC3023/MTC2808, I can't see it costing more than the 52GBP Land Rover wants for them, and an alloy replacement wouldn't crack again. Now if I can just figure out which lower dash I need for this one, I wanted to put in the newer style (with vents, not Puma) dash but LHD for this 90 but the catalog images show the old type and given the psychotic price I really want to be certain... It looks standard yet is stonger and of course is never going to crack like the original item. I bought one when they first came out and they are a doddle to fit. You mean the later Td5 dash? Like this? The lower dash (heater duct Land Rover call it) as per callout 1 in this diagram: Is part number FAY500040PMA for LHD with speaker and FAY500060PMA for LHD without speaker.
