will4x4
Hi all, i want to replace my brake lines with goodrich hoses. Mainly due to me bending the pipe round over the years has kinked them all quite badly and the MOT is due. So its the ones from the caliper back but also from the caliper in to the back of the caliper... if thats males sense. does anyone know who sells these? thanks
Deej
Llama 4x4 (http://www.llama4x4.co.uk) seem to have a very good reputation on this site for doing braided hoses and can custom make you anything you want. I've never used them but I'm sure there are plenty of people that can give you a recommendation.
Boris113
I bought my goodrich hoses from MM4x4, they were the cheapest place I could find and they delivered very quickly. I've also heard good things about Llama 4x4 but have never used them myself
dirtyninety
Do you want to replace them from the brake cylinder all the way to the caliper or just from the copper (chassis end) to the caliper? Also, why not buy yourself a roll of 10mm copper brake line, and some fittings, and a 9.99 brake pipe flaring tool off ebay and do it yourself. This is what i have done and have been able to make a very good job of them.
will4x4
good idea - actually i have the brake pipe to.. its just annoying as when you keep moving a caliper you end up pinching them.
