WHO4 MUD
I have a 2006 90 and im thinking of changing the cv and possible half shafts they have quite a bit of play in them and i have already changed the rear half shafts and drive flanges as they had play in them as well. what standard cv is good and wont be worse than standard but wont break the bank? I have seen some for £30.00 odd is this about right or should i bit the bullet and get the best e.g. ashcroft and get peice by peice?? LandyManLuke
The Britpart CVs actually aren't that bad. Even Ashcroft's own testing supports this. OEM spec (probably GKN) CVs are still going to be cheaper than Ashcroft, if you don't need that level of performance.
Off Road Toad
You can't buy oe cv's without shafts now. And I think they're about £325 per side. The britpart cvs do actually seem to last on standard Vehicles.
rusty_wingnut
I've Britpart CVs for ages, and never broken them. Make sure they are the ones with the serated edges to the CV outer.
