Arbman Al
I have this wire flapping around at the back of the airbox, but can't see where it connects to. Any ideas please?
western
if you cut some of the outer black covering off & expose the inner wires they may have a colour coded covering which might help ident the cable/wires on the wiring diagram, or trace the other end to see what it connects too. Arbman Al
I think it was plain white or white/black and comes out of the engine wiring loom near where the MAF wires exit.
Dave W
If it's near the MAF I'd have thought the Ambient Air temperature sensor would be the first one to check - the sensor is on the side of the air filter box, heater matrix side. western
I'd go with the above.

Hi Dave, Both connections are on the airbox and maf already. It appears it is the wire for the oil pressure sensor, as I have not connected that yet, and the strange looking connector at the end of the wire is the inside of the plug! Will have a closer look tomorrow....
Arbman Al
Mystery solved - it is the wire for the oil pressure sensor, and even better the actual plug that is missing is on the sensor as well!
