sirjames0_1
Hi all! Just checked and adjusted the valve clearances, and also greased the prop shaft and UJ's. Whilst tinkering, I noticed a grease nipple on the top of the power steering pump..... there is no referance to this in either the LR manual or the Haynes manual (that I can find, anyway). So, should I whack some grease in, or leave it alone?? Cheers James
western
That 'grease nipple is actually a Bleed Screw, to allow the PAS system to be bled free of air after a pump, steering box or pipeline has been replaced.
sirjames0_1
Ah, thanks Western- I'll not bother trying to fill it with grease then ?
