PieEater3142
I have a 200tdi 110 with a PDWA sensor on it. I have made a new loom for the car and I never saw anything but moulded bullets on the old loom but I need something to connect to the PDWA sensor (AAU1700). Basically I need the connector for this: http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product/listing/2249/3005/1/AAU1700-BRAKE-PRESSURE-SWITCH.html Does anyone know what this connector is? I called Craddocks and they said you can't buy it separately and it's part of the loom. Anyone know if this plug has a part number or where I can get one? Cheers, James
western
had a remove of mine from the PDWA valve, it's wet outside & dark, photo's below, IIRC it wasn't part of my new bulkhead loom when I fitted it a few years ago, looks to be a seperate sub harness. I'll have a trawl through my 110 parts book & see if I can find a number
western
found this at Autosparks website http://www.autosparks.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1649 but the end terminals aren't right for what you want, unless it's a generic photo. can't find anything in my parts book. PieEater3142
So I emailed autosparks, the response was not great: Hi James Sorry, this plug is now obsolete ! Regards Debbie Think I need to put a brake fluid level sensor in instead.
western
LR ditched the PDWA when the 300tdi's came out, replaced with the low fluid switch in master cylinder cap, easy to add, fited one to my 110 recently, got the new float cap from my local LR parts place, it;s this one http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product/listing/15827/4298/1/SJL100200-BRAKE-MASTER-CYLINDER-RESERVOIR-CAP.html if you decide to fit it, needs 2 wires one to earth & one to the black/white wires where the PDWA wiring connects [i run both inline]

Cheers, James Those PDWA Switches were used on lots of British made cars, here's a connector I found at a Triumph specialist, I think it's the same type - http://www.ldparts.c...a478a0577be22eb .
