discomikey
is this what i need to replace a petrol series 3 ignition steering lock and barrel? http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product/listing/10193/4248/1/QRF100880-STEERING-COLUMN-LOCK-.html as i think this is what it should be but is out of production http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product/listing/13823/623224-STEERING-COLUMN-LOCK-ASSY.html?search=RTC4772&page=1 so does the first superceed the latter or is that wrong? as the only other one i can find is £80 new old stock. ejparrott
I've had a look too and it seems you're right. LRSeries are pretty knowledgble, I've taxed them several times but they've always been right!
secondjeremy
The switch unit unscrews and comes off the back - enabling you to replace it alone if its an electrical problem.
discomikey
i know this no its after a loss of keys (suspected stolen) at the top of buildwas pay and play. which was then followed by a break in of the bent door variety so i bit the bullet and went for the £80 one that i could get straight away as id rather spend abit more and secure my pride and joy than wait another couple of days for the poeple to come back and have another go. however the theifs are being ID'd and the only thing left to be recovered are the tyres that were on the roof of the stolen vehicle.
