coachman
Hello again ( and so soon ) while I am on the forum a question needs to be answered or clarified. This Discovery I have bought is locked and unlocked witha key as opposed to a button . I accepted this as correct ,after all it is 18 yrs old , while having my rear floor replaced the fact ! arrose that it maybe ( conflickting english )could have defunct central locking . Does anyone now /can verify whether a 1-6-94 Discovery 300tdi should /could have central locking .thankyou coachman
teabag
Yes it should activated either via key in the drivers door lock or a remote fob
peterdon
Start by looking below the glovebox for the c/l - alarm unit (directions http://www.remotekey.co.uk/cars/land-rover/discovery-I-1993/). If it is still there take the driver's door card off and look at the c/l actuator and it's connections. Let us know what you find.
