Steve 90
Just bought a ground anchor from the good people at devon 4x4 and I am looking to make some brackets to mount it. First thought is across the front above the winch but its a bit likely to get hung up in the tree's up front. Across the rear would be good but I have my waffle's across there and it will make it a pain to get them out in a hurry. I thought id see if anyone had any idea's I hadn't thought about yet. Where have you mounted yours? Do you have any problems? Is it easy to get at in a hurry? Pic's would be excellent
Mark90
I'd probably look at mounting it across the cage behind the cab or on the cage stays. Some sort of quick release mech would be good. And... I'd have a mount on the front bumper. So... That way you have it in the back for sites with lots of trees cos you ain't gonna be using it much, and for site without many trees you have it on the bumper where you can easily access it. BogMonster
I carry my Kittygripper on the roof rack and the tube & pin military anchor lives under a false floor in the back of the
