Using a Salisbury on a Disco

If fitting a Salisbury to a disco, what would you do with regards to props.

Would you be able to mix and match with defender UJs or change the flange on the salisbury or would you need to custom make a prop?

For a start your prop is going to need to be about 2" shorter to accomodate a Salisbury, you may be very lucky and find a 90 prop that will fit, you could try to source a 200Tdi disco prop and shorten that or as you say have a custom prop made.

It can be removed & replaced like any other diff, but the salisbury is not to be dismantled unless you really have to as the pinion preload is set by a crushable spacer. You might find a prop off-the-shelf that fits, or just get propshaft clinic to make you one.
