L835
Surely extended seat rails are just a length of box section steel with some holes drilled in them? Richard

Disco-Ron
mud rails are tapered, with inserts . . But in essence, a bit of box with holes would work
mmgemini
I have both my seats in my Defender raised 25.4mm using alumium box section with crush tubes fitted and the bolts through into the seat box.
PieEater3142
I made subframes for my Cobra seats with 1" steel box section and then tapered the ends so you can bolt it down easily without need for a long bolt. Seat clear the lip at the back of the seatbox now so can go back that little bit further (only issue now is the bulkhead...)

Frax
I made some with 1" box section cut at an angle alone its length and drilled some holes, works a treat. 1mm cutting disc did the trick. Frax
