GW8IZR
Has anyone had luck finding the rubber valve seat 2232660139 from a Girling G-Valve? TIA Regards Paul
western
AFAIK these are a non-serviceable part, in other words if faulty or suspect just fit a new one. if yours is item 1 on page 592 http://www.retroanaconda.com/landrover/parts_books/90/7_brakes_fuel_air_exhaust_cool_heat_p581-718.pdf then there isn't a repair kit for it listed in the 90 parts book. GW8IZR
Hi Ralph, there is nothing complex in the unit and its perfectly serviceable *if* you can get the part. As its been used in many different vehicles its possible someone somewhere has the bits. Regards Paul
western
a good motor factor might have a catologue showing the internal parts, not sure if the G valve is a Girling or Lockheed made item.
GW8IZR
Girling - its a very simple but clever device and but for a 5/8" bit of rubber mine would be fine ;-)
