bushwhacker
Hi I have a steering guard (it protects the front steering bars st/damper) and an axle guard (which protects the front diff, axle and rear steering bars) rear diff guard all Southdown and rock sliders unknown origin. I have not had any trouble with this setup on my 110 and I have went for a very similar set up on my 200 Disco. Any time I have got hung up on a stump or rock (went it has its cloak of invisibility on) its the guard that takes the weight. I have seen HD bars bend. bishbosh
My vote is for HD steering bars, no steering guard and if you are into competition then add a track rod guard. The Southdown axle guard that sits below the axle tube is very strong and will protect the bendy bits but will also get you stuck very quickly as it sits so low down. M&S
I found my steering guard got me stuck more times than not so it's off now.
