Extended Bump Stops?

Recommended Posts

110 fitted with 33" wheels; +5" shocks, +2" front turret, X-arms, wide angle A-frame joint, medium duty coils, etc. Do you think that extended bump stops will be required?

The problem with testing the fronts is the radius arm bushings will bottom long before the shocks will max out. You will obviously dislocate with that setup so retainers or dislocation devices are needed. I assume you are dealing with brake lines and propshafts as well.

Check to see if they are binding when the suspension is fully flexing, if so then you will need wide angle props. I had a britpart one first (needless to say I didn't buy another from them but thats another story). I subsequently bought a pair of them from paddocks which were of much better quality and not too expensive either. Depending on how bad shipping costs are for you, it may be cheaper to have them custom made locally.
