NickMc
Does anyone know what the correct "term" for the shielded wire you would use for a crank shaft sensor? It's two core and has a earth/ shield. It's a bit like coaxial cable. I'm struggling to find it and I have a sick Td5. Thanks
stuck
Screened cable?
FridgeFreezer
Screened or shielded, possibly twinaxial if you're being fancy although my experience (EDIS not TD5) is that you don't strictly *need* the shielding, although it's obviously there for a reason. Another option is DIY it by running normal cable down a bit of steel braid.
LandyManLuke
If you're in a fix, Maplin list two core screened cable. I haven't used it or checked how suitable it is, but it might get you out of a hole.
