James NZ
Hi all, Plugged a mates new Nanocom into the TD5 for a wee play and noticed that it has logged the following - NANOCOM - TD5ENG.APP - TD5 ENGINE fault file (3,7) AIR FLOW CIRCUIT, (LOGGED HIGH). --- (20,4) EGR VALVE STUCK OPEN, (LOGGED). --- (31,1) INJECTOR 1 OPEN CIRCUIT DETECTED, (LOGGED). --- (31,2) INJECTOR 2 OPEN CIRCUIT DETECTED, (LOGGED). --- (31,3) INJECTOR 3 OPEN CIRCUIT DETECTED, (LOGGED). --- (31,5) INJECTOR 5 OPEN CIRCUIT DETECTED, (LOGGED) Can any one help with the 3,7 air flow logged high problem? 20,4 EGR is getting a blanking plate??? 31,1 - 5. I'm guessing the cure is to replace the injector loom? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, james NZ
bear
Hi James, Re the injector open circuit codes, do you have a missfire now or have you replaced the loom? If loom replaced (& no missfiring occuring ) they are old codes and can be deleted . Re-checking after a run should not show them up. HTH I'm just learning to use this piece of kit myself. PM me if you require further info. Griff
sierrafery
your guesses on the other faults are spot on... the "air flow..." fault is generated by the MAF sensor or it's wiring.
