Maverik
Hi People, One of our MR wagons has developed a fuel leak just after you've filled up the tank, it leaks about 1/2 ltr of fuel just after you've finished filling it up, from looking at it there's a vent type pipe with what looks like a non-return valve/vent? on it with the standard hooked breather sytle hard "n" shaped bit of pipe on the end... looks like its connected to somewhere near the "root" of the main filler pipe, haven't quite confirmed that the fuel is coming out of this pipe but damned sure as a bit of fuel leaked out while I was fiddling with it, am I right in thinking that the 1 way valve has failed? Cheers Mav
western
2007 on fuel tank http://www.numcat.ru...ver/p/30/45022/ might be the vent above the fill neck se the dashed line for item 17. fill neck & breather unit http://www.numcat.ru/landrover/p/30/45023/
Maverik
I was thinking it was item 6, the "bulb" type thing just below the vent pipe looks like some kind of one way valve i think...
western
could be, but it would have to let air in but no fuel out just found this photo, [new one in package] on ebay save 2nd photo & use a picture editor or similar to enlarge it.
