I'm sure the answer might have been up before but I couldn't find it so I apologise.

I have a 2001 td4 ES. It's started being really low powered especially when pulling off at junctions and going up hill I gave to really drive it through the rev range to get the most of it.

When revving at idol the turbo lag is huge!

I have done the vortex breather and the egr is removed.

Help pleeeeeease!

There is a small solenoid valve next to the turbo which allows vacuum through to the actuator to move the nozzle & set the boost. The pipe to mine was rubbed to death. Same setup actuates the EGR valve, so worth blocking that pipe off if you've blocked/removed the EGR otherwise it'll be leaking vacuum off and potentially affecting the turbo actuator operation.
