Hybrid_From_Hell
Does anyone know the nominal fuel rail pressure on the V8 Efi's Around 30-32psi without engine running, engine running just a tad lower, less than 28 and you will have problems, more than 36 psi same Nige

Bull Bar Cowboy
cheers.actually found it on RAVE - 2.4 - 2.6 bar (34 - 38 PSI ish) Yes, that’s correct……… 38psi at anything above tickover………. At tick over the vacuum operated pressure regulator drops the pressure by 0.5 bar (7ish psi) . From experience I can tell you that if you go much over 45psi the injectors tend to drip when closed …….. this causes popping in the exhaust. The aftermarket adjustable regulators that come pre-adjusted should be checked ……… mine was set at 55psi. Ian
