Hi guys.

I found a picture of an oil can storage for the series engine bay on the big internet some time ago.

I cant find it again..

But it was a guy how had made an storage rack for two cans of oil beside the radiator.

There where some pictures of a Pink Panther engine bay with a storage rack just like it.

Anybody else seen this an saved the link?

So, where does the rad expansion bottle move to?

Replies 12 and 14 in the OLLR thread refer to a 'puke tank'; I can only assume they mean the rad expansion bottle.

One picture shows the overflow pipe leading to the top of 'something', with what I'm going to guess is the overflow pipe from the same 'something'. I'm not sure what the circular black cap, also visible, is from. It might be a screenwash container.

Think that would be one of these from a series 3 cooling system

The oil cans would be just 1/2 gallon cans

Thanks for highlighting the provenance of the bottle.

It's been brought to my attention that it's not possible to casually view the pictures in the original OLLR thread, so to help I'll link the pictures here, which show that the holder was built around full size cans.

The inspiration

Then it's back to the two I started with, where everything is painted green!

Apologies for not giving the full story the first time around.
