Simon_CSK
As the title says. I am guessing that the two are not connected at this stage. The water in the reservoir has turned black and I suspect that this is blow back from the cylinders. This could mean that I will put my good block in it but what are the likely causes of the miss fire?
rocksteady
Hi there, have a look at the spark plugs. If you have one that looks like it has been steam cleaned!
elbekko
Could be related, bad running could cause overheating, or overheating could cause bad running. Look at the plugs, do a pressure test with the plugs out, and I guess you'll find out. Is it smoking, is there oil in the water or water in the oil? Water black but no sludge not checked the oil yet. Will do tomorrow.
