Jocklandjohn
Tried a search and google but got confusing info with hi-cub sizes as well. Basic question - what height is the bog standard shipping container entrance - or - what's the maximum height of Land Rover 110 that will fit in the hole? Retroanaconda
This is a good overview: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intermodal_container#Specifications So 7′ 5 ¾″ for a standard container or 8′ 5″ for a high-cube.

mmgemini
I work on a 2.2metre height. I generally have to unload some stuff off the rack and must take my top box off. http://landroveraddict.com/forums/thread.cfm?threadID=73780&boardID=26 It's should all be on there. Jocklandjohn
Thanks lads. I'm doing some 'alterations' to my 110 and it makes sense to ensure that it fits in a container 'just in case' of adventures imposing themselves upon me, and if I need to reduce my upwards 'mobility' by an inch or two it might be sensible to do so just so it does fit easily in a standard shipping container! A full post with techy details and photos of what I'm up to will be along as soon as the bashing and hacking begins.......
carlosbeldia
You can go as far as 2.3 in standard and 2.6 in HC, but I recommend you not going more than 2.4 in the HC for inspections purposes. My work is to ship and receive cars all the time......
