Bowie69
What age? I.e. are they side-facing, in which case I don't think 3-points are much use I am afraid.

Dunc
The top part of a 3-point seatbelt stops you tipping forward in an accident, so would have no benefit at all to a side-facing seat. Perhaps you could look into fitting Defender-style forward facing fold-up ones in their place?
NosmoV8
Just insured my disco '98 my insurance company was keen to know if I had 5 or 7 seats and if 7 did the rear seats face forwards. Having seen some issues with insurance in popular magazines I imeadiately said 5 and have now removed the two rear dickey seats. Before anyone else does the same check your V5 to see what it says. If it says seven seats including the driver your knackered. Mine doesn't have a seating capacity stated so I am okay!
teabag
When I reinsure my disco online I just enter the reg number and it the shows 1997 Discovery ES V8 7 seats or similar, what's the problem as I've never had one.
