dailysleaze
Defenders (at least of the 300Tdi era) have the holes and crush tubes for a second shock mount, to the rear of the spring seat on the RHS, but not on the LHS. Anyone know why?
CwazyWabbit
As I understand it that is not for a second shock mount, it's so you can have the LHS shock pointed forward and the RHS one pointed backwards.
mmgemini
It's not a second shok mount. So don't think about it like that. Fitting another shocker to that mount will cause problems. The original Range Rover had one facing and one rearward shocker. The holes were carried through to both the 110 Defender and the Discovery up to and including the 300Tdi...
