Warthog
Morning, Got to make up new Track bar and drag link. But cant id the LH and RH thread used on the Ball joints ends? The Overall Dia is 0.6875" (11/16) 16TPI My trusty Zues book let me down....I reckon it could be 11/16 UNF? One of the Forum members should be able to enlighten me? Any good places to shop online for taps aswell? Cheers

hoarebag
Dragging this tread back to the top, Does anyone know of a supplier of 11/16 x16 UNS jam nuts? I bent my track rod at seven sisters and have a thicker heavy duty one but no way of stopping it from rotating. I think that just a RH thread one will be sufficient but my local fastner place has nothing and can only get me a box of 50 so not ideal. Any ideas? integerspin
Look around for places that grind taps, when my local place still did it in house taps cost was based on size irrespective of form and pitch, I had a 5/8-20 Lh ground and it was thirty quid. Also look for listing for UNF, UNS and other UN thread series are often just listed as UNF.
