MuddyWinny
Hello, I have an early 90 (1986) with original front axle. Unfortunately one of the bolts holding the brake disc to the hub on the front axle sheered. Looking at the parts catalogue I should replace it with bolt AFU1180 and spring washer WL110001L. However, LRDirect cannot supply this bolt and it is not recognised by Paddock. Suppliers on ebay would seem to indicate that AFU1180 (up to VIN 930455) is the same bolt FTC1368 (from VIN 930456). Can I use FTC1368 and if so do I use the spring washer or just use threadlock? Thanks Mark
western
both are Metric thread, the AFU bolt is no longer available or supplied, only the ftc1368 bolt, I can't remember if both bolts are the same length from under the head to the end of thread, if the newer version is longer then fit with the spring washer if same length it's your choice of spring washer or thread lock compound
MuddyWinny
Thanks Western. I'll order a set of FTC1368.
western
I might have some used ones in the garage from the front hubs used on my rear disc cobversion. can send them up if you like, otherwise they'll get binned.
MuddyWinny
That's a nice offer thanks but I haven't bought the new discs etc yet so it'll probably be cheaper to add a couple of bolts to the order. Thanks again. Mark
