We always get enquiries about quads/bikes etc. so here's the rules: Any 4-wheeled vehicle which is MOT'd and insured is welcome, anything else is not, this includes non-road legal quads and ANY bike. steve200TDi Posted June 6, 2014 Share Posted June 6, 2014 Well we all had a great time in Wales and the weather was great too! I did some of this: I played in the Quarry ,went to the waterfall and drove up the rocks at the washing machine area. I got about 2/3 the way up the rocks and this happened!: This was a bit unfortunate as I would have to go round in two wheel drive for the rest of the weekend, unless anyone had a spare rear propshaft! It broke off on the short sliding joint. It does look as if it had already started to crack. No one had a spare, but someone did find a propshaft in the trees that happened to have a servicable uj on the short end. So we just tapped the short end out of that prop and fitted to the decent half of mine. Someone even had a grease gun, so I greased it as well! I was back in four wheel drive that afternoon and it lasted all of Sunday and the 200 odd mile trip home. It's still on there now!
