EU2 engine / EU3 ECU

Good day. A friend bought a Disco 2 EU2 with a heavily damaged engine. He brought a good engine from Panama and made an hybrid engine. Everything looks OK but the car doesn't start, only send 2 pulses to the injectors and that's it, never goes fire. The ECU was straight installed, without learning code procedure, so I suppose it's immobilised, I'm I wrong?

They have tried to execute the learn code procedure with Autologic and Idiag scanners without results. I have the Nanocom here in my city, but don't want to send it to Bogota. Do you know if it's possible for him to send me the immobiliser unit toghether with the ECU and I execute the procedure uising my car (Defender)? thanks for your comments.

Yes needs to learn the security code while cranking over. Never tried what you want to do, but sounds logic but then it may not work.

Cant see why autologic does not want to code it for him, he is sure all connectors are connected properly.

What do you mean only two injectors are firing/pulsing, have they test fired the injectors with autologic and do they all fire, and don't forget during cranking the ecu only fires injector 1 until the engine "accelerates" then the other injectors come into play.

You'll not be able to do a job for D2 using the Defender cos the Defender has different alarm system and doesnt have a BCU like the D2. IMO as long as the ECU is in working order and the BCU on the car was not faulty those who didnt succede with the autologic maybe didnt know what to do or it wasn't set for Land Rovers... the other Idiag tool is useless for D2 anyway.
