Shackleton
Are there any tips or advice for a first time Nanocom user? I've downloaded a lot of manuals from the website and am getting through them, but I'm a little nervous because I read (on here) that the unit can make changes by itself sometimes. I share it with someone else so I can't take any chances with the unit either. It's P38 at the moment but I'm about to buy the BCU unlock code for my D2. Edit: it's an Evolution btw
V8 Freak
Hi George, I've not managed to write anyting unwhittingly yet... It clearly tells you when you are making changes when working on TD5 / 10AS but generally has worked well for me setting injector codes, integrating an new 10AS unit, learning key codes etc. All my experience is on TD5 but would assume they have similar protocols for other vehicles. Shackleton
Thanks Neil, Mine are Td5 too, and my only real job this week is to activate my fog lights and I'm hoping to interrogate the auto box. I'll be giving it a go tomorrow when I get the code, I supposes the best way to learn is just do it
Anderzander
The BBS guides are quite helpful - but more in a general sense than a 'how to guide'.
studmuffin
Thinking seriously about getting one for my TD5, but although I can get by on my works and home computer, when it gets to serious IT ability I am computer illegitimate. So is it simple/intuitive enough for 60`s dinosaur to use?? Barry
Anderzander
They are easy - simple in fact I think.
