FridgeFreezer
As the title says - Paddocks seem to want about £75 for a UJ or linkage are they really that much, or does someone know where to get 'em for less? Also, while I'm interloping here, were the DII PAS boxes used in anything else? P38?
Andy
probably are about that much. i know on D1s the upper steering UJ comes complete with part of the column, its probably the same thing.
waveydave
Yup that sound like the right sort of area for the price on a set of UJ's and shaft. As far as i am aware the DiscoII steering box is only fitted to the DiscoII. If my memory serves the Disco has the box inside the chassis and the P38 is mounted on the outside. FridgeFreezer
Cheers guys. Next question - anyone got a part# or diagram? I need something to go onto the DII PAS box input so it can then be joined to a "normal" Defender column setup, not sure if this is the UJ bit or the shaft bit eBay sellers have: Discovery TD5 Shaft Assembly-Intermediate Steering Part No QMN100330 and Discovery TD5 Joint Universal Steering Linkage Part No QLC100110 But I'm not sure which I need
