A Twig
Sorting out some rough edges on my SIII 109, managed to keep the battery in the original location on the 200Tdi conversion, but got a bit of a lashed up K&N style air filter set up going on which I don't like. Anyone done the external air filter routine before? Thinking of wanging it on top of the wing as it will make a future snorkel style arrangement simples as well. Good / bad idea? Boydie
I've seen a few Landies with it mounted on the roof above the windscreen - canister style and connected to the snorkel
LaRoNut
"On the wing" seems to have worked ok on this Landy. Do you want yours to look similar?
tacr2man
I have a donaldson up on the front of the roofrack and the snorkle pipe goes up to that , worked well for about 3 decades and was ok with the V8 and with the current diesel , ideal for dusty conditions as its well up out of the way .
