Stumpy R380 - which transmission tunnel - R380 or Lt77?

Hi folks,

With a stumpy R380 behind a 200TDI - which transmission tunnel/seatbox/floor plates would give the closest to a factory-fit - Defender Lt77 (up to 200TDI) or Defender R380 (300TDi / TD5)?

The stumpy R380 is advertised as a replacement for the LT77, but with a 1" longer mailbox and a 1" shorter bell housing I'm not sure which transmission tunnel would give the better fit for the gearsticks. Ideally a setup that would allow the use of a factory gaiter and handbrake lever without modification.

Appreciate that you can cut and shut either to fit, but I'd prefer a straight bolt-on solution.

The only LR example I can think of are the some of the Tithonus MOD 110s done by Ricardo which often had Stumpy R380s and 2.5NADs, but Withams is a long way away for a gander.
