Maverik
Out for my lunch today and just about to drive up the main high street here in Aberdeen, there was a brand new cream coloured TDCI, 130 crew cab with canvas back and strangely it had got its spare wheel mounted if front of the radiator on the front end, I noticed it had an AC grill on it with what looked like a slim A-bar type affair bolted to what appeared to be a standard square box type bumper, I'd got my phone out to try snap it but the lights changed and it cruised off... That's the first civi vehicle I've ever seen with a wheel just there, looked interesting...
jacsteel
Hi Maverik This a long shot - did yopu ever find out any more details of this front mounted spare wheel? I have a slide on mounted camper on the back of my 130 double cab and looking for a place to mounte the spare wheel with more weight at the back. At the front sound right to me Thanks John

ThreePointFive
Interesting, the Snatch ones mounted via the bull bar, never seen this kind of mount. Not sure I like it but I guess it's function over form.
