  1. I've used gutter sealant in a few places and it seems to have done a good job and lasted well. I definitely wouldn't be using silicone.

Closed cell foam with an adhesive backing is pretty cheap on eBay - so making up the strips like in Les's kit would be a doddle too. You could probably cut a gasket in a single piece from a larger sheet.

  2. I've thought about where to put one in my 90 and not settled on where.

The seat box is an obvious choice but that's vulnerable to wading, and anywhere else in the cab seems a bit obstructive. Bit there'd be a host of problems to resolve there.

It would be nice if you could you fit one in the standard dash - in the heater box part. So that it worked through the standard vents.

  3. That does look good ! Not badly priced either.

My floor is already stained by oil and waxoyl and the like - the hard bit is that it's turned into a workshop rather than a garage, so their would be a hell of a lot of stuff to take outside ...... But with matting I wouldn't have to wait for drying and could get the stuff back in straight away.

  4. Precisely .....

It might seem like a delay to wait - but I expect it'd be a bigger delay to be ripped off for £300.

If he was a decent seller surely he'd care about your buying experience and be working to give you a bit of confidence.

Similarly - thinking about it ...why use eBay if your not prepared to pay the fees. Is it a sign of generally being dodgy ?

It seems to read a bit like he knows your desperate and is using that to his advantage.
