I need to do some repair work to my front bumper, but it will need to be off the car for a few days to allow me to do it. So, is a front bumper a legal requirement? If I have the chassis rail end protected by an A-bar, am I likely to annoy Mr Plod? My front number plate could be mounted either on the roof rack or inside the window for the few days that the bumper would be off.

Fisha, You can alway borrow the jate rings off my Defender if you dont have something sorted in time. That is assuming that the chunky recovery points on a RR A-bar will be considered as suitable by the scrutineer .... Renny ???

Hello all, Could some kind soul please have a squint at the parts catalogue and help me with the part number for the coolant temp sensor for a 1990 3.9 I cant find it in microcat, and typically, work has just gone crazy and I cant spend the time hunting it down. I have decided that the temp sensor is the place to start for the dodgy idle and stalling problem.
