  1. Iv learned more about my landy just by trying than any car I've owned a second set of hands is always worth having
  2. As for uj grease is good but can also be bad when the dirt gets in its like a very abrasive combination if cheap uj where used they will wear far more than the better quality parts available
  3. Yes the ones labeled 3 push the exaust from the rear then squeeze under and do it from the side mine didn't knock when pushed from the back but did when pushed from the side
  4. Have you checked the two bushes at the rear a frame mount check the exaust isn't knocking the chassis mins is and is making a metal clunk/knock as for the rear springs had mine in the air the other day and they poped out at the top but made no noise difference but I don't have air bags these may not be the problems but something to check and tick off the list

Think we're getting away from the original post but as stated the three vehicles were not on a legal lane But If you do have the knowledge to update a lane or can point it out to someone who can help with the legal parts of driving a lane then help I'm not in great knowledge as I'm starting out I have seen alot and walked a few lanes that do look good to drive but with my self not knowing the do and don't I don't drive them neither should anybody in doubt of a lane so this is why I'm going to be joining glass not just for the lanes but the knowledge of those who know them and the less challenging lanes I have a lift kit and a few little mods so nothing mad for me

Tackled the front wheel bairing replaced front pads both sides took it onto a local garage to have a small knock checked out left it there been told it's the exaust knocking but my main concern is I'm now back home and the rear springs are half out out there top mount how can I get them back in
  9. The recent main one was three if I remember rightly decided to drive along the moors and get stuck and think they may of damaged a path in the process not something I plan on doing think as suggested to me earlier glass is the best way to go till I have a more experience with legal lanes

  11. Think glass is something I need to look into have heard about a select couple that do drive the lanes and do so with ignorance and stupidity think the membership side of things will keep me in the right group of enthusiasts thanks again for the input guys finding the information very helpful

Thanks guys we did alot of walking when we went looking and I believe most of the little trails I found were footpaths so before I drive on any unpaved road I will be walking the route just to see if the trail will be safe to use and I have the correct things I need to drive it safely going to take a look into something called glass which has been suggested think it's some kind of green lane group
  15. Nigel that is how we planned it today to go steady away took pop and a few sarnies only found one little lane with some good size puddles

  17. Not realy into the big chunky tyres just let a bit of air out I went on a small lane today with a friend didn't really see second just like to plod along for now had a drive up to castle Hill bit windy but a nice view at the top

Thanks for the replys guys will call in for a brew can get nippy in the 90 no heaters at least they don't work It has 2 Ince terra shocks and springs has a 300tdi conversation diff guards poly bushed I'm not too technical with the changes as I don't know a great deal about 90s this is my first
  19. Looking for some green lanes around Holmfirth or skipton have no idea where to start and don't want to drive a lane that's not legal so any advice or lactation please pm the location if you want to meet up and come with that would be great this is my 90

  21. Good to know think I'm just going to use the guy suggested went on the site ball join and bracket with new bolts is just under 90 so I can live with it and do the bushes at the two mounts either side
  22. You can see where the original mounts have been cut off and plated over also the front arms trailing arms are poly bushed and rear
