  1. I am positive that the "Diesel overflow" (Spill) pipes use industry standard sizes, just search for either imperial or metril copper washers, you will be awash with options
  2. There is a reason for the change, if your vehicle has ABS then use the ceramic paste, apparently the copper stuff causes dementia and your braking system may or maynot work, but if the abs sensors get contaminated with coper then it is virtually impossible to clean tem, so only replacement and megabuks
  3. If I was you, I would be ringing Allisport, I think they used to supply a lpg auxillary system that would low users to turn th DPA down slightly but give a better "burn" of the Diesel..and they are very nice people to talk to..if you go to Peterborough, then you will have seen him whip a truck around the speedway arena...
  4. hi, go to the dark side, do what ford did, fit a Disco handbrake, its fully cable operated, no idiot linkages to seize up, biggest prob will be to get hold of a td5 handbrake lever, but you will never look back, fitted mine 6 yrs ago it still holds up on the great Orme Road, Llandudno....unlike the rod system with every pivot point that seizes has too much play, that would struggle to hold it on a 1/100 incline...(Its steep on a Rail way) its easy to maintain at peak efficiency , think my MOT man recommended a 1/4 turn (.25), but after a session in our local boozer he admitted that an 1;8 would be more than enough...(.0125) have included metric conversion to comply with EU disability rules////
  5. Hmm, usually the seat runners are secured to the seat frames with 3 per side, but are usually secured to the base with just 4 bolts, without bracing to the chassis, however, they have all passed the BSI " Sit Down and have a cup of tea" Certification, which in my mind is a far mor reliable test than anything dreamt up by EU idots. I know , its a sticking point but have you seen the rubbish that some call an off road vehicle Ha Ha Ha
  6. Hi, I would imagine that the poor hamster that powers the "blower" has expired, I know mine has funeral tomorrow, fitting a better rat (TD5 unit) though I believe that the hamsters heart is still the same one fitted to the metro, though the motor was fited to earlier vehicles. Mine didn't even have the decency to blow the fuse, its an ex parrot...
