I'm pretty sure the land rover parts manual lists part numbers and bolt sizes.

The Haynes one is simple but it is in circuits so makes it difficult to tie in together. The land rover one is more comprehensive but similar. It might be better to try to describe what you need.

Walters don't seize your vehicle the police do but only if your on there when it's closed or you stray off the byway. iirc it opens something like may till August but you must check the local rights of way department. Walters put rocks in the track on their land when it's closed and remove them when open.

Hopefully this should show you can delete the wireless part no problem.
Switches are simple three wires, supply into the switch (battery 12v+) one output goes to terminal 1 the other to 3 just reverse these if the switch works the wrong way round.

I would try bypassing your lift pump (or replace it) and check the tank is not vacuuming due to blocked breathers as it sounds like lack of fuel.

No, I modified a southdown disco guard to fit a 90 (same fitting as 110) but can't remember what was needed now but it was fabrication type work.

45 has a fibre glass dash and no footwell/windscreen flap. The air does seem to warm up quicker than 55 (normal dash) and there is no disadvantage to having it blow out of footwell and screen at the same time. In fact the only reason I'm planning to put the abovementioned vents in 45 is the passenger footwell gets so much hotter than the drivers. The wife loves it but I can't handle it when i'm in that seat.

You can get a version that screws in from the front which has much less to stick out the back. I'm planning to fit some to all 3 of our trucks.

The td5 style hand brake is much better it uses levers instead of a tappered pin and rollers you can pick them up for around £40 second hand.

Has it got a viscous fan shear wait of water may of stalled the engine as the water went through the fan. Plus the spray of water could of interrupted the electrics. I doubt water got into the diesel as if it did you'd have other issues that would still be present.

Ash is very much a reader not a poster so I will guarantee he has read this but as I said no one has answered his question. And yes I live in a similar world to honitonhobbit and I did drive Andy's red ibex awesome truck but I still hate autos.

Yes that's the one and it's a very capable truck originally it was a V8.

Workshop manual should tell you but it will also say you can tow up to 3.5 ton (braked) or 4 ton (coupled). You can put nigh on a ton in the back of a 90 so I don't think your mods are an issue.

I know ash very well which is why I pointed out almost no one was answering his question his truck is a very well set up bowler 88. Whilst I don't agree with some of his choices (and he knows that) I can't argue with the results he has investigated all other options hence he has ended at the expensive option of vvt etc.

You should be able to do away with the remote and use either a hand controller or fit a switch. Personally I like a switch in the cab and grill only. I don't bother with remotes or hand controllers. A photo of the wiring may help to confirm.

You will need a 2" suspension lift (you may getaway without but I doubt it), preferably longer bump stops and to trim the rear of the rear arch.

To be honest I agree Nigel I had 1.41 and 33" tyres on my tomcat which was bang on for me and every truck I have. However I've driven ash's bowler and it does pull it with no problems.

Something ash hasn't pointed out is A. This set up is in his 88" bowler thus it's quite a bit lighter so can pull the gearing. & B. He used to work as a diesel engineer at a diesel specialist. So he does know his way round diesel engine/pump.

I snapped one off to get the door top off then took the slider out doused the top with wd40 then unscrewed it with molegrips. I think I did end up drilling one out from the top and retapping it carefully.

I've got a feeling there is a relay for the headlights somewhere. However your problem sounds like the dim dip unit has gone belly up.
