  1. Hi western, it was the original military chassis which was in excellent condition so had it sand blasted and then galvanized, then powder coated, so has original vin numbers, the original vin plates are 3"×2" and other one is 5"×2" so seem to large to go on the dash?, dd

  2. hi all, i have received my documents for my rebuild, logbook with new registration number, its mot and insured now, i was wondering where do i put the vin plates, i think one goes on the slam panel but where do i put the other one, i will probably be putting it back up for sale now, i've attached some old photos still in the same condition but it got brand wolf wheels on, dd

  3. Its a rrc 3.5 v8, auto, its says suffix B, on the block, but have 14 cylinder head bolt? Which I think came later, just watch video on the tube, and noticed the notch in the bearing should be on the same side of the conrod, will have to check, or is it something else, dd

  4. hi, am I right in thinking con rod nuts torque is 50nm, because I have fitted new standard bearing shells well lubed as are the conrods and guornels, when I torque them up I can't turn the crankshaft, all pistons have gone back in the same order, but the conrod caps got mixed up, is there a certain way for them to go, dd

  6. Everything on order, full engine gasket set, lifters,camshaft,chain with new cogs,manifold studs good idea will sort, waiting on engine stand to come back, so I can turn it and check bottom end, how do you get the dipstick tube out the block could turn it with out stand if I could get that out, dd

  7. More problems, lifters shot all of them in similar  state,if I put this 3.9 camshaft in is there anything else I have to do, like bearings etc, or do I just slide it in, going to order one when I order lifters, dd
