I also use Torque Pro on my phone (or tablet) with a cheap ELM327 adapter (I have a few adapters, all cheap, all elm327, all vary in connection speed)
Unfortunately the ELM327 wont work with a TD5, but it does work with fords, so the 2.4 and 2.2 TDCI work great.
With Torque Pro I can monitor most engine sensors, and read and clear fault codes.

If you fancy the Llama flexi brake lines, give A and B hoses a visit in Chesterfield they will make you up the pipes, IMHO better quality than Llama for much much less money!
Just need to tell them the lengths and what fittings you want. They'll do them whilst you wait.
(thats presuming you come back into Gods county anymore?)

It has loads of interior modifications unfortunately not by WP. I'll have to source a new dash ideally.
The plan is to get it running and welded then worry about tidying it up.
Do you know if 4 door tail gates will fit a 2 door shell?

It depends on the age of the 2 door, the CSK uses welded construction for the body and the only differences in construction are the A posts and the B post/side panel between A and C post.
The earlier 2 doors had bolt in panels and a different floor plan layout.
Exterior panels are roughly the same, fuel filler cap became covered and then eventually became the high level filler. Front wings had indicators in different places. They always had exposed door hinges but bonnet hinges became hidden.
My repair panels came from YRM and seemed to have been modeled around a mid 80's 4 door, I had to fabricate the bottom of the B posts as they weren't available at the time and the bonnet latch config was from an early car. The quality of the panels was great and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
You're only up the road so if you want to have a look at either of the two doors let me know.

I've just taken the wise decision to invest my money in a 2 door in need of a lot of welding, my question, are replacement panels available? Is there a good source of parts?
Do more modern foreign market 2 door rangies share many of the same panels?

...I thought it worth mentioning that I have toyed with fitting the winch in the engine bay (obviously not the XL) but I can find too many negatives NOT to do it for access and line of sight reasons when competing. I know this doesn't bother some people much as I have seem many completely concealed (which I like) but with our low level of experience I like the idea of being able to see the drum and perform easy maintenance.... There is a bu*ger-tonne of space in there though! (especially when the rad is gone!)
Im not sure if you have ended up keeping the rad in this postion, but your rad is WAAAAY to far forward!!

What I meant when I asked about Ali burning was more to do with it feeding the fire ,just couldn't remember if Ali got hot enough to burn or if it just melted ,obviously by the time it's that hot the occupants are either out of the vehicle or not getting out .
Missingsid ,Re external cages not being allowed for speed events ,are ultra 4 events not classed as speed events ?

I'm living in the alfreton area just off the m1.
The plan is to have the caged finished this weekend and then lift it all off again so the rangy can be painted.
Paint finished and properly fit the cage and wing bars ready for play time.
My first outing will be the May Day bank holiday at Kirton off road centre so long as we get 3 more trucks built up and ready!
Has anyone got any good suggestions on what colour to paint the classic?

Cheers for your advice fridge freezer, I'm actually using the Unimog shock mounts for my conversion and adrenaline arms front and back with are twice as thick as standard,I agree with the mountings needing to be extra strong that's why I'm not taking on that my self lol, I've messaged dirtydiesel but not heard anything back as yet, luckily the bloke who's giving me heeps of advice has done the conversion a few times so I feel safe in his knowledge and I always check n double check with decisions

so according to that website you should have Bosch 0-280-150-556 injectors. A quick Ebay search shows theyre fitted to LOADS of vehicles

I always put it down to worn clutch springs.

can you push pull it backwards and forwards? We found the bolt that holds the timing gear to the cam repeatedly came loose.
Not ideal, but you need to take off the timing case and have a look!

I regularly sit driving for 12 hour stints... around the same field...
