  1. They seem te same as what you have and have found out what they are
  2. Thanks for the link, its the same one i found earlier
  3. I have just removed a set of Yellow/Red/Pink springs off the rear of my RRC which was originally on Air bags. I just wanted to know what they are before putting them up for sale.
  4. Didnt realise they would be that expensive!! might keep it as it is for a whie then..
  5. Mines doing the same, but not the noise from the fan, so a new resistor is a must i think, seeing as im replacing the dash soon anyway its a worth while job to do while its out.
  6. Luckily not our house its rented, so the stone wall is nothing to do with me Yeah might renew the whole rear end both sides for piece of mind.
  7. Surprisingly yeah, sprayed some de-greaser on it while still wet and poured some water of it and it just washed away, i was very surprised.
  8. Yeah think the whole lot is gone, only tightened the bearings up when i got the truck about 3 months ago. Could of already done the damage before i got it. But new stub, Bearing and seal and another lot of new oil.. Think ill be checking the other side too
  9. Walked out to the Rangie this afternoon after being out in it this morning to find oil leaking out from the rear wheel. Only re-newed the oil in the diff yesterday. So took the wheel etc off to find the oil seal knackered and the stub axle knackered too .... GREAT!!!!
  10. Definatly going to just drop the new box straight in, no fussing over stripping and re-building.
  11. Top man. Will let you know when i can pop down
  12. yeah its not going to be the easiest job, done a clutch on my drive in a disco the other month, not fun at all. Ill snap your hand off if thats ok probably wont be able to grab for a wek or 2 though if you dont mind? At least it will get everything working for a while till i pluck up the courage to pay £500+ on a recon one
  13. It sounds like my Viscous has given up on my Borg Tranfer box. Im just wondering whats going to be the best option? i dont want to fork out £500 for a re-con unit. Is it worth gambling with a good used complete box ? Or replacing the VC myself? if doing this is it worth replacing anything else in there? Is it an easy enough job while still in the vehicle or would it be easier while its out? either way doesn't bother me.
  14. Just what i wanted to hear they easy to repair or might aswell just replace with a good condition used unit?
  15. Right slight update... quite often now turning right on the road, the relays are clicking and the T/C and ABS light comes on and stays on till ignition turned off and back on.
  16. all depends how you drive it really. im running 3.9 Auto RRC with 265/75 and driven sensibly i can get 12mpg normal driving, bit of town work buit mainly not stuck in traffic.
  17. Tyre scrub?i do get the TC lightcome on somethimes going round tight corners up-hill. ill try the whel brace this afternoon see what i get
  18. Right jacked up front wheel and it wont rotate with a lot of pressure... nothing at all.. only the usual 1/8th of a turn ish back and forth taking up slack in drivetrain etc....
  19. Right i shall see if i got some time tomorrow to try and turn a wheel. try with all 4 or will just 1 suffice? Next time im off road at that particular hill ill dissconnect the plug and see what happens then.
  20. seems a bit pricey and no photo's either !!
  21. Light only comes on when i lose traction. Thanks for the pages so you reckon it could be that block playing up?
  22. ETC valve block? where is that? Gather thats not doing its job? i can hear clicking and relays etc while its sat there spinning so something is trying to do something, but no making any difference. I get the orange ! with a wheel each side when i pressume the diff locks? or is this a fault? i do get an ABS warning light sometimes but very occasional, and ABS seems to work fine. Brakes are spot on as is the pedal so thought no need to bleed. Havn't checked fluid in T/Box yet though
  23. May be ble to give you some advice if i knew what it was about
  24. Well i have recently bought a 1994 3.9 Auto classic, Its now lifted 3", 265/75 Muds etc.... But im having serious trouble getting up 1 particular hill lately, it looses traction and just sits there spinning and not moving. There was 2 disco's in front of me with similiar mods and flew up there with no problems, I managed to finally get up there on the weekend, but i had to constantly pump the brake to transfer the power to the non spinning wheel. and lowly inch by inch i got there. Any ideas on what could be the prob? already jacked each wheel up and it wil not spin indicating diff lock works. Could it be T/Box worn and not fuly locking under pressure? Diffs playing up? T/C useless and not doing its job? I have had a few landy's inc other RRC V8's but manuals, this is the first auto as everyone say's they were better for off road use, and i can understand it now driving one, but there must be something wrong with this one somewhere.
  25. So it just might need a lil fiddling with the injector setup for the lpg. Think i can cop with that
