  1. Please upload some pic's everything is better with pictures, were it says Attachments click on browres select what you want then attach just remember not too big pics the mods don't like it
  2. My Disco 2 and my defender both have them on and I realy like them I don't suffer from tyres getting sliced open I must admit. The D2 has one for reminding Merc's and Audi's how far down the food chain they are and on the 110 its primeraly to make up for being a **** driver.
  3. It was a cracking day wasn't it.. A big thanks to all the marshall for helping on the day and a special thanks Mike, Ash and a member who I can't remember his name that helped me in a good two hour recovery which involved me digging the whole truck out by hand, two plamsa lines snaping and a bent rear wing but she drove out on all four wheels in the end.
  4. Large site suitable for all levels of experience - as challenging as you wish to make it. Sand, Sand and more deep sand with intermittent deep water! Any level of off roader will enjoy this military site. Boundary points will be described by marshals on the day and may be barrier taped - please do not cross these. Do not touch the tanks!! Care does need to be taken in some areas as sand can be very soft and deceptively difficult to drive, likewise water may disguise sinking sand. If in doubt walk it first. We recommend vehicles have suitable recovery points, front and rear. As with all our events individuals should bring their own recovery gear. Great Family day out with good visibility for spectators. 5. It may well be it was only due to the big mud hole overspilling water onto the steam train tracks. the area may have dried up enough by now
  6. Its illegal to buy one in the UK anyway due to the nanny state commy barstuards that some call a government. Ilike my one and yes it stick our loads but it protects the front when I do silly things like this in my 110.
  7. My wife thinks my workshops are big enough.... If anyone is after a steel frame about the size of a double garage with a flat top but very very stronge and loads of beams to hang stuff from drop me a line. Jules
  8. As some of you know I’m a construction manager but I don't have much dealings with Council planners. This morning I have been asked to remove a mezzanine floor from a large hub room and get it weighed in for scrap. It is basically the size of a double garage frame and would be a very simple way to double the size of my garage and all I would need to do is felt the top and build infill timber panels and put a set of doors on the front. The frame is the hard part which I can have for the scrap price Does anyone know if I need planning permission for this as its 100ft from the road and not visible and its behind the house.
  9. do you mean the part we got stuck in for the last three hours. yes all the same areas

  12. mmm The TMC will be going up to PPC very soon for its cage upgrade to FIA international spec either way but unless a nice QT wildcat comes along I say that because no matter how much you look at it the wildcat is the perfect all rounder for this type of event the the result sheet shows that. It would need decent rad cooling FIA spec cage FIA spec long range fuel tanks of at least 200lts FIA spec seats and harnesses Hansdevices + the shipping and entry fee's not to mention getting a service barge out there as well. it will not be cheap
  13. not bad three Land Rovers in the top 11 after 40 starts and only the worrior didn't finish and that was down getting stuck and running put of fuel
  14. I must behave otherwise Andy will not let us have a stand
  15. A cheque can be recalled no matter how old or how long ago it was cashed. the normal big banks are not known for recalling them once cashed but a shaddy one can do what it likes and thats were thay get you! You can right a cheque on a post it note if you wish as long as it has the correct information on it, its a cheque and any bank will cash it(it may take a bit longer to clear than normal). a bankers draft is the same we are too used to trusting our big banks that are above board and strickly monitered but some doggy niggiran one thats not the case
  16. Video 2 Fridge All I need to say is arana and July, you know the rest. I can't see DB liking it much. D3 on steels
