  1. would this cause a power problem i took it to devon 4x4 today and they couldnt find the fault they tested it on a t4 i have hired a td5 from site4x4 and it pulls like mine used to
  2. havnt a clue,some times its 16% then floor it more 20+% why would it show anything related to egr if its not plugged in
  3. on my nanocom it says egr inlet 20% when driving but its blanked off !and the wireing is disconected! anyone no why? as i am trying to find out why its not running good

  5. i am trying to sort out the low end power blow 2000rpm problem on my td5 changed using genuine parts filters air/fuel injector loom egr Maf fuel regulator took reading today and inlet pressure is at idle 100kpa and at 3450 206kpa at 3000rpm it reads 196 kp at 2062 120 kpa is this corrrect?
  6. i just changed the MAF as the britpart one only lasted 6mts lol now have genuine and it showed good gm
  7. i have a low end power problem i fitted a britpart loom 10mts ago and trying to find this recent fault i noticed the little plugs under the rocker cover when i unclipped them they were full of oil but it hasnt tracked down the loom to the end plug at the cyinder head Could this be my problem ? it doesnt show up on the nanocom has anyone else used britpart looms

  10. the result is it now revs it tiny little big ends off ! brill 760 rpm 60gr But still lost its power untill turbo kicks in ,any one know why

  13. I have lost a bit of low end power I have read loads on this site about the maf and am totaly confused Mine is 6mts old and gives no nanocom faults it says on 740rpm 40gm so i disconected the plug and it pulls smoother and a bit more power, is my maf broke again!

  15. i have lost low end power and have a small fuel leak from the regulator by the inlet manifold..A local landrover chap said this can cause it to run poor is this correct?

Hi its on english plates 2008 90 black ,snorkel,an bfg muds , you may see it on the main road very near the prison (cartama) or up at Mhonda thats where i live at the moment soon to be mijas.There is lots of guys around alhaurin el grande i see them parked up just down from the builders merchants at the top end of town but never met them .Do you fancy going out for a bash i use the tank range at mhonda
  17. hi i play around Elgrande and Coin in our 90 ,got a great run up the river bed .There is a guy breaking landrovers behind M&S at the back of Fengrolar (spelling ! ) to get to it of the main road down from malaga just drop of the dual carriage way (quite steep but ok if you dont you have to go miles around that new juction at marbera end)when you see Fengrolar and go under the road though the storm drain ,watch out for scooters as they use it for a short cut Regards Ray
  18. Yes i tried tightening the drum as per workshop torque setting but ok .Think my hands must be to big.. must say the 200tdi 90 was a dam good, easy to work on truck,cant belive the trouble i am having trying to get to this adjuster
  19. i can see the two nuts but cant get spanners near them it a 2004 model and its so much harder to get to compared to my 200tdi which was easy
  20. on my 90 i took out the center seat but i cant reach the adjustment part of the cable is there a easier way to do this as i cant get to it underneath either as there is not room
  21. i have offroaded a discovery proper and as a passenger the disco grab handle is good it was the first thing i noticed going to a defender .its on my wish list

  23. on our 90 today in the snow the passenger front wheel was spinning but the rears were not ,in difflock the rears moved more any one no if this is right on a 2004
  24. yes the heater does get very warm or quite hot but i have been doing that for about 2 weeks and its only a little better
